Wearables

Fitbit is the original activity tracker company, and they make great devices for fitness tracking. This is one of their less expensive options.

This watch is fitness oriented, but has many of the additional features you get with smart watches.

If you have an Android phone, especially a Samsung Galaxy, and are looking for a smart watch, this one is hard to beat.

By far the best smart watch on the market, the Apple Watch isn’t cheap, but it’s the best device in the category (at least for iPhone users).

Mobile Device Accessories

There’s so many portable battery packs out there, but Anker makes my favorites. This tiny model will slide easily into any bag you’re carrying and provide plenty of juice for all of your devices.

For an even tinier portable battery, this little guy will easily get you through the end of the day until you can get back to a wall charger.

If you like listening to music or podcasts on your smartphone, this handy device will extend that listening experience to your car. It’ll also handle phone calls, and you can control the playback from the pad you see here.

If you're looking for inexpensive, well-reviewed headphones for your phone or MP3 player, these are a great option.

I hate buying and throwing away batteries. I also have two small children with dozens of battery-operated toys, and these things are a lifesaver. Especially when they forget to turn those toys off and the batteries wear out in a day. I just charge up a new one!

I like the Eneloop batteries but not the chargers they sometimes come with. They require that you charge in matching pairs, which gets wonky if you need to charge 3 of a kind. I have a bunch of Eneloop batteries on hand, and when I build up a number of them, I throw them in a larger charging station like this one, where I can charge them in any combination or quanitity.
